How do I self-nominate?
For the following roles (Co-President, Vice President, Treasurer), self-nominations open at 9am on 27th May 2022 and close at 5pm on 31st May. For all other positions, self-nominations open at 9am on 4th June and close on 7th June.
Prior to self-nominations opening, you must become a member. It is free and can be obtained via the SU website (https://www.durhamsu.com/groups/history-in-politics). Once the nomination period for your chosen role is open, visit the SU website and log in to your account by clicking the “Sign In” button. Once logged in, choose “Account/Profile” and then visit “My Nominations”. Any elections you can nominate for will appear. Complete the application and submit.
How do I vote?
For the following roles (Co-President, Vice President, Treasurer), voting opens at 9am on 1st June 2022 and close at 5pm on 3rd June. For all other positions, voting opens at 9am on 8th June and close on 10th June.
To vote, when the voting period is open, visit the SU website and log in. Click on “Groups > Student Group Resources > Elections > Voting” to see the elections you are entitled to vote for. Cast your vote!
